Hair Hack
The title of my blog is because the girl cutting my hair literally had to hack it off. Her scissors were not big enough to handle all of my hair. I have taken the leap!!! I got 14 inches chopped off and donated it to www.locksoflove.org/ . In case you live in a cave and have never heard of this organization, they take hair that is donated and make wigs out of them for children with illnesses that cause baldness, like cancer or alopetia.(I have no clue how to spell that.) So I felt pretty good about that. I told the girl to cut my hair a couple inches below my chin. Or something like that. She misunderstood me and cut it a couple above my chin. I am totally ok with it though because it looks totally cute. But I am having an anxiety attack. For my friends from college, you are probably like, whatever, you had totally short hair before! And I have, I have! But it is something about having hair down to your waist, and then chopping it alllllllll off, that makes my heart beat really fast. I love it. I do! Justin LOVES, LOVES, LOVES it. He thought I looked like a sasquatch... he does love me, I promise, he just likes my hair shorter. The kids said I look bootiful. That is a direct quote from Hilton. Caroline said I look much, much, better. Did I look like Grizzley Adams before, or what? But, I can't put my hair in braids anymore. No more ponytails or buns. (Justin is glad there will be no more buns.) I can do this. It will grow back. Someday... Maybe I will never let it get that long again. I am over 30. It is probably time for me to have a big girl haircut. But it is hard... it's so hard...

I feel your pain. I have done the hair yo-yo thing and I grow it out and then hack it to my chin, then I say I am never having it this short again so I grow it out and then I get sick of it so I hack to my chin again. It is a vicious cycle. Hang in there. It WILL grow back if you want and who says that long hair can't be had if your over 30?!?!?
You go! Sean doesn't life short hair. It's a Thomas boy thing. All of his brother's are like that.
Wow! Cool! Where are the pictures? I'm toying with a hack job myself... it's just that it took me so long to grow it out...
Um, hello? Pictures? I'm totally with you and Chris and wanting to cut my hair. Must be the summer heat. No matter what, I KNOW your hair looks great cause you always made your hair look great, even when it was orange. . . remember that?
