Problems

Lorelai has been very cranky lately. She will be content and then all of a sudden start screaming. I am not sure if it is her stomach or her non-existant teeth or both. Also, she is not sleeping in her crib. I have her in our room in the bassinet again. I can prop the matress up so she can breath because she always seems congested... and I just haven't had the courage to "let her cry it out," yet. I know this is the only way she will learn to sleep through the night, I do know this! I have experience with this! But she is always sick so I am so worried if I let her cry she will choke on her own mucus! Anyway... this baby has been a challenge... but I just love her sooo much! She is too cute! Any suggestions for my problems???

I don't know if I have any good tips but hang in there! It seems every child is different and what works for one won't work for another. Ethan was a challenge like that too and I think I have wiped the trauma of it from my mind and don't remember how I dealt with it. Pathetic huh??

I have said it a thousand times...her crankiness and "screaming in pain" is probably something she is sensitive to in your breastmilk. I don't see an end to it until she is weaned unless you start experimenting with your food intake. Also, I don't blame you about the choking on mucous thing...very scary and you wouldn't get any sleep worrying anyway. Just hang in there! Vicki
