Check's in the mail

Don't you love to get a check in the mail? Even when it is only $10, it feels like a million when it is money that you just get. I am a big believer in rebates for this very reason. For a lot of people it is not worth the time to save proofs of purchase and receipts and mail them in just to get a $10 check in the mail. But for me, it is a little bit of Heaven. I only have 2 kids so it is not like I totally have my hands full. I am a stay at home mom who has nothing better to do than cut out coupons and send in rebates. But don't get me wrong, I do not feel the least bit pathetic. Because I got a $10 check in the mail for a minimum amount of effort. I love $10 checks. I hate those $3.15 checks that you get from credit card companies that they want you to cash so you'll sign up for some stupid plan. But I love $10 checks with no strings attached. I wish I could get a $10 check every week...
