Bedtime story

Last night I was reading the bedtime story with Caroline. She read the entire book to me herself!!! The book was Dr. Seuss's Hop on Pop. For anyone not familiar, it is like 60 pages! It is soooo long... But she did so well. I was so proud of her. I just can't believe how much she is growing up. She will be in first grade next year. She loves reading. I am so glad. One of my biggest fears is that my children will not like to read or that they will have trouble reading. At least now I know that I don't have to worry about Caroline. One down and one to go. Another nice thing about having a child that can read is that she can read to her little brother. Hilton likes to pick out his own book for me to read to him at night besides the one I read with Caroline. This is fine, except that he always wants it read again, and again. I read it once and then tell him to go let Caroline read it to him again. It is good for both of them! No, I am not lazy... ok, yes I am... but why not let tem both benefit from this new talent? Kids grow up too fast. I miss them being tiny. Sometimes I look at Hilton and remember when Caroline was this age and I want to cry. I wonder if Heavenly Father feels the same way about us.
