Our week
This week was very full. I know I have not been the greatest about blogging, but I am a busy working woman now... I find that it really wipes me out to baby sit all day and then go into work for 5 hours. So I have been negligent inmy responsibilites in blogging lately. I am sure once school starts in a couple of weeks, things will get better. But I will tell you about our week. Monday I took all five kids to Sam's Club by myslef. I locked the keys in the car and called a wonderful young man in our ward who works for a locksmith in the ward and he sent someone right out to unlock the car. I was very calm the whole time and did not cry once. I am very impressed with myself. Lorelai started walking this week! This kid is so funny toddling around. She is so tiny and cute. She is still very tentative, but yesterday started taking more steps together. Caroline and I had a girl's night out on Tues and went to see Kit Kittridge. It was a very cute movie and Caroline learned the importance of not wasting her food. In the movie it takes place during the depression. She could not believe that people really did not have food. I expained that there are still people who don't have food in some places. I think it was a good lesson and she was very entertained too. I babysat everyday this week... the boys have gotten used to being here and the children are now all fighting just like siblings. I am really ready for school to start. Less than 3 weeks left! Friday I was exhausted. (I do not know how my friends with 5 and more kids do it.) So Justin went in to work for just a couple of hours in the morning. Then we went to Sam's Club to buy some cleaning supplies and then he took care of the kids while I napped. After the boys left, he took our kids to the library for a ventriloquist act. They really enjoyed it, but J thought it was pretty lame. But let me tell you, those library activities are greatly appreciated! They get me and the kids out of the house, and breaks up the routine. Our friends who have pools have been out of town for the passed 2 weeks so there has been no swimming. I am very ready for that to start up again. Caroline went to her very first slumber party on Friday!!! She had a wonderful time! When I was getting ready for work Sat morning, she told me all about it. She stayed up until 2am and Justin said she was a bear all day. I worked the whole day until 7pm, so I missed her lovely attitude. I put her to bed as soon as I got home and she was asleep in seconds. Justin and I had take out Greek food for dinner and it made us both horribly sick. We missed church yesterday and spent the whole day in bed. It was just awful!!! That is the week in a nutshell. This week will be much of the same I am sure, except I have picked up some extra shifts at work, so I will probably be a zombie by Sunday. I am thinking I should just go inactive from church... Vicki would never let that happen...

Yikes, 5 kids at Sam's club! I'd be pulling my hair out. I have taken my kids+2 extra to the library. I don't think I would attempt shopping with them, though. Somebody probably wouldn't survive. I can't wait for school, either. :)
WOW you are amazing!! I missed you at church Sunday. I haven't seen you in a long time. Jill is back we should go swim.
You are one tough cookie! I don't know how you handle to extra kids all week long while working, too. Hang in there, and stay away from that Greek food.
