Michaels

So I have a new job. I am working at Michaels. I thought of going back to Fresh Market, but I really did not want to work with food again, and Michaels is literally across the street, so we are talking no gas... that will save a little bit of money, esp with gas prices right now. I started on Friday and worked most of the day Sat. It was fine. My feet really hurt after being on them all day. I can't wear my bikenstocks, I have to wear my sneakers and they are not comfortable to me. I need some closed toe shoes that I can wear that are comfy. I am going to buy some inserts and see how that works. Right now I am just working the register which is pretty easy. I don't know when I will be able to put out stock, but all the stuff is fun to look at so at least I don't get terribly bored. I manage to keep busy. Of course, it is a job which I would rather be home... but it isn't horrible. I get a discount, but I will never use it since we have no money, but maybe it will come in handy when we start buying school supplies! I am not sure how many hours I will be working. They said between 15 and 30 a week, it will just vary. They pay isn't very good, but it will make up for it by saving on gas. Anyway, it should be a pretty good job! I will keep you posted!
