Kung Fu Panda and kids

We went to see Kung Fu Panda on Saturday. It was hilarious! But of course, you just can't go wrong with Jack Black. We pretty much can count on it to be funny if Jack Black is involved. Lorelai was uninterested and just fell asleep, but the big kids loved it too. It is really so hot here, that the only thing to do is go somewhere with air conditioning. Lorelai has begun crawling!!! I mean she was kinda doing it before, but now she can really get places fast and has discovered it is a much more efficient way to travel than the scooting on her bum thing that she was doing. She has not abandoned that all together, but when she wants to get somewhere fast, like to one of Hilton's toys, (B/C her toys are boring and childish) she just crawls. I don't think I am ready for this. I want her to stay little! I want her to stay a baby. She is my last baby and I will miss all the baby stuff... She does have a very interesting way of communicating. She shouts... She just screams really loud when she wants anything. When she is happy, when she is sad, when she is frustrated. Caroline is reading like crazy! She is reading a book a day. I told her it is time to move on to more difficult books. She is reading Junie B. Jones. She is convinced that there will be nothing that is as funny as these books... but I told her that we could find some that are just as funny, but more reading-level appropriate. She is still very young, so she is not ready for boys and girls relationship stuff... but I am sure we can find something that is a little more challenging that is still funny. Hilton has a loose tooth!!! It is his first. He really wants it to come out, but it hurts, so he won't let Papa pull it out. Poor kid. He said he doesn't care if the Tooth Fairy leaves money, he wants to keep the tooth. Caroline told him to leave a note for the Tooth Fairy and she will leave the tooth and some money. Kids these days have it all figured out!

That's exciting and sad about Lorelai--it's always so hard to see them doing things that make them so not babies. But, exciting to see their developments! Has Caroline tried the Series of Unfortunate Events or Judy Moody? And, how about Charlotte's Web? Those are just a few that Brigitta finally found and enjoyed after too many months of trying to find something that can replace Junie B. Jones--I feel your pain! :o)
