Poor Daddy
My dad lost his foot today. There was not any improvement after 3 surgeries in 1 week to clean out infection so they took it. Mom said that he was resolved and ok with it. But I am sure it is going to be a struggle. But at least this way the infection will not be able to spread. It is such a bummer. He has gone through so much in the last 2 months since the accident and we were really positive about his recovery! It was going so well. Anyway... My prayers are with my parents right now. I know they need it.

I feel for him so much! The positive thing is that the infection is no longer a threat to the rest of him. I am sure that he is thankful for his life and will adapt to this change as soon as the shock wears off. Your Dad is a tough old bird and I know he won't let this get him down! I am praying for him and for your mother!
So sorry to hear that about your dad but at least it wasn't fatal. I am glad to see that there wasn't alot of structural damage to your house due to the hurrican. Let's keep our fingers crossed for the rest of hurricane season!
