This was Hilton's birthday party at Chuckie Cheese's. Our guests were the Waihi's. Hilton's one friend he requested was Andrew. Hilton is a wonderful boy. His teachers love him. They say he is respectful and kind to the teachers and all of the children. He never gets into trouble. He never tattles on the other kids and never complains even when Maggie (a girl who has a huge crush on him) is constantly bothering him during nap time. Hilton is learning to have fun with his baby sister. He is learning that it is kind of fun to be a big brother, especially when Lorelai laughs at him endlessly! Hilton loves Spiderman and thinks that he should be able to climb the walls and shoot webs from his hands. He also loves Star Wars and anything Darth Vader. He will play with his light saber all day declaring "You can't know the power of the 'Dahk' Side." He has an amazing imagination and can play for hours by himself. He loves to wear costumes and pretend to be someone else. Especially Peter Pan... he can fly! He loves to drink water. It is his beverage of choice. His favorite foods are all berries. He HATES watermelon due to an unfortunate throwing up epidsode at Grandma and Grandpa's a few years back. Hilton is a very active boy. He does not like to sit still. Even when he is watching tv he won't stay down for long. When we were at the doctor's office, the pediarician asked if he was always like that and wondered how I keep up with him. And even though he likes all things sporty and active, he has asthma which puts him out of commission a lot. But he is always a great sport about doing his breathing treatments. Hilton is the sweetest boy, and even when he makes me crazy... I can't help but wanna kiss those dimples and squeeze that kid. We love him... yeah, we'll keep our 5 year old!
I am a reader. I love anything to do with books. Including having them stacked by my bed with the promise that I can read them anytime I want.
I write a column for the local newspaper about books.
