South Beach Lifestyle
So, I started the South Beach Diet last week. This week went pretty well. I am not going to reveal how much I lost yet, until after my second week. Because if I don't lose as much this week, or I gain anything back, I don't want you to know. I wasn't going to Blog about my new lifestyle change because I really don't want to be responsible to anyone. I don't want people to expect too much from me. I have failed at diets before and I have done really well before, only to fail again later. So it is hard for me to put myself out there and 1) admit I have a problem and 2) tell others that I am attempting to fix said problem. I guess I have a hard time believing that people can change, mostly because of my lack of will power. Now, I don't want a bunch of comments left about how I can do it and I have the power within myself... I know all this. I just really would like to succeed this time without getting pregnant in the middle of it! That is what has happened the last 2 times I had any dieting success! But now, I have a lot further to go than I ever have. But I have made it through the whole first week. For those of you unfamiliar with South Beach, for the first 2 weeks I can't have any carbs the first 2 weeks. That means no sugar, no fruit, no grains at all, no potatoes, no carrots, no corn. After the first 2 weeks I can gradually add in some good carbs. This is what my doctor really wants me to do. She said that it is the best diet for diabetics so I am going to go for it. I am really going to give it my best. And hey, if I have made it the first week without any cheating at all, I am doing very well for myself. So here I go. Week one... operation Remove The Gut over.

You will feel so much better once you get past the first two weeks and lose 20 pounds. The first bit of weight off will make you feel like you can exercise more. I hope you have great success.
Way to go!
How about some extra prayers?
