Have you ever?

Ever feel like your head is all fuzzy? Like if you looked in the mirror you wouldn't see your face, but rather what should be your face, just al blurry and non-descript? have you ever looked down and something drips out of your nose, so fast you don't have time to catch it? So you sniff it up, trying desperately to retrieve it before it hits the already dirty floor. Said floor being dirty because you can hardly lift your head, let alone a mop? Wanting to take a nap, but refusing because you don't want another night like last night where you woke up at least every hour wondering when morning would come and when you would be able to breath again? Have you ever felt so stuffy that you are sure that your head is full of cotton or saw dust or down or something equally filling that makes your children's stuffed animals look flat and one-dimensional? Have you ever had your child sream at you for your attention and all you can do is look at her and ask in a little, tiny, quiet voice, "what, sweetie? What?" only to be answered with more screaming... and then you feel like your head could truely, concievably split in two? Have you ever wanted to tell your husband, go float when he asks what is for dinner, because you don't want to make dinner because your head hurts, and your nose is running and everything is foggy and you just want to give the kids cereal for dinner and put them straight to bed, but you can't because you are the mom and you have to just suck it up and roast that chicken and peel those potatoes, and make sure everyone is fed a healthy, balanced meal, because cereal won't cut it, because I think somewhere, when I signed the marriage liscense, there was in some really small print something about, no breakfast for dinner, and no cereal for dinner, and no skipping on making dinner just because you feel crappy because if you are sick, it usually means the husband is sick so he doesn't give a care about how you are feeling, just that he has dinner on the table when he gets home, even if you have to work? Ever had that happen? Yeah, me neither.

If I signed that same marriage license then I am pretty sure I can be sued for breach of contract.

Yeah, well my kids had cereal for dinner last week and I wasn't even sick and they are all still alive and kicking. And if you just can't do the cereal thing, Raman Noodles only take three minutes to boil. Feel better soon, girl.
