It's beginning to feel like Christmas

Right now I am baking cookies, and getting ready for this evening. I am going to the World Premiere of the Amazing Race Lafayette. Vicki's parents are hosting a party and since I am apparently featured quite a bit in the film, I am invited! So Justin and I are going to go to this event and I have nothing to wear. Sometimes i get like that and I get all depressed because I don't have nice things to wear. I am usually very content with what I have, but sometimes my courderoy jumpers just don't cut it. But that should be fun. For all of you out there wondering how the job is going... I really enjoy it. Working less than 4 hours is pretty good and I like the people I work for and work with. Of course, there has been some mix up with my pay check and I haven't been paid yet, so that is a bit of a bummer, but other than that it is fine. Lorelai is eating solid food once a day and we just make that one time when I am not home and Justin does it. She is fine the whole time I am gone, and I feed her when I get home and she has even been sleeping a little better! So it is good and I cannot complain! The Fresh Market is a great place to work! Tomorrow is the last day of school. We are going to make gingerbread men on Saturday... (Because apparently Hilton is convinced that is the only kind of cookie Santa likes.) And we will be all set for the big day! I am making lots of fun food and we are just going to have a blast! Today I am making Russian Tea Cakes, last night I made mini banana bread loaves, and I have a couple more goodies to make before the day... I am keeping so busy, but in a good way. And Justin does so much so that I can do these things! He cleaned the bathrooms yesterday!!! Even the toilets! And he watches the kids so I can take naps. He even made dinner the other night because I was extra tired and had to work... so I could take an extra nap! What a man. But he just wants the goodies... hahaha! Anyway... the countdown is on! Just a few more days!

Way to go on all that baking! I took the easy road this year and did very little baking. It's been easier, but it feels a little weird. The baking bug will probably get me right after Christmas, and then I will have nowhere to take the goodies!
