Our Holiday Plans

I have spent the weekend getting ready for the holidays... except of course for The Amazing Race. I will blog in more detail about that later... We put up the center pole to the Christmas tree this weekend. So now we have a Festivous tree... (that is an obscure Seinfeld reference...) But we will get the rest up soon. I have gotten most of the gifts. I think I just have one more... We are not getting much this year, so it has been very easy. We are focusing on other things... Last night we went shopping for another family. The Young Single Adults decided to do a Secret Santa for someone in the ward, so we did the shopping for that. Hilton did not quite get it and wanted to keep the jammies and Bionicle we got for one of the boys. He is very upset. But he'll get over it eventually...But it will pay off when we get to drop the gifts off and run. I think the kids will really like that part. It wasn't so much fun for Caroline since the family doesn't have girls... but she got into the spirit of it. Anyway, I have been off of work since Friday and I have to go back tomorrow. THis is not something I look forward to. But I can do it. It really goes fast. The 3 hour shift was not nearly as bad as the 5 hour shift. So we shall see how that goes!
