Doctor visit

I went to the doctor yesterday and asked why I am not losing weight at a normal speed. Yes, I was pleased before, but I have gained 5 lbs back and I cannot get it off. So he is going to test my thyroid. He is not very hopeful that this is the culprit. Apparently thyroid is not a very common cause of obesity, but he wants to rule it out. He said if that is not it, then I will have to be patient and work harder. That means 17 hours of exercise a day and eating only grapes and celery, apparently. I just don't know what more I could do!!! But I will keep trying...

Did I ever tell you that I hate exercise. I got up yesterday and walked(quickly) for an hour and am dead sore today... pathetic huh? I was going to do a marathon but quit training because of the heat but I think deep down it really is because I hate running...with a passion! Hang in there. All good things seem to come slow!

Mark just had a doctor visit today. They said he'd gained 13 pounds which is totally not true, especially since he just joined a gym and has been extra careful. But still. . . maybe he'll be joining you on your 17 hours a day of exercise and grape and celery diet. And in another few months--I'll be signing myself up. It really sucks to be chubby prone, don't ya think?
