Lates on my noggin
So I went to the doctor today and the MRI, CT Scan and blood work were all normal. Which is great! But we still don't know why I have this awful headache. She was still concerned with the multiple retinal hemmorrages. Which made me a little concerned too since the Optomitrist said there was only ONE!!! And now she (my doc) is saying there are MULTIPLE! She said that it is normal for people with diabetes to get these hemorages when their blood sugar is not controlled, but mine is. She did the blood work and it looks very good. She was very happy with that. She is just kinda worried about these hemorages. as am I, now... I think I was happier when I knew nothing!

So sorry to hear. We are keeping you in our prayers.
What do the retinal hemorrhages do? You are in my thoughts Jenny.
That is kind of scary! We will keep you in our prayers also.
OOPS.. That was me, Liza btw, I didn't realize it was my husband Tony who was logged in (in case you're wondering)
Ignorance is bliss, isn't it?? Maybe you got them back when your blood sugar was NOT under control and they are just still there. Praying for you!!
I remember Dee telling me that she had a supplement that she could give Andrew for the health of his eyes and she mentioned retina health. She also talked about lutein, antioxidants, and B vitamins for eye repair. Woman, you need the voodoo!
Go Voodoo!!!
I hate it when the doctor just throws something out like it's not big deal, not even realizing the rise in our stress level it will cause. After Gracie's crazy seizure-like activity, her doctor told me, "She's right where she should be developmentally, so I'm sure it's not a tumor." What? You don't just throw something out like that. I don't think they live in the real world.
Sorry about your headache--I hope they get it figured out soon!
