Our ward party this year was perfect. We had the primary kids do a Nativity while Brother Waihi read a poem about that first Christmas. Hilton was a shepherd. Caroline was going to be an angel but she ended up going to a friend's house instead. We also had Santa come. We assigned the food, so there was plenty this year instead of counting on people to bring a pot luck. Our meal was Ham, funeral potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green salad rolls and dessert. It was pretty good! There are 3 of us on the activities committee, so the set-up was pretty daunting, but we did it. And I think it all came off without a hitch!
I am a reader. I love anything to do with books. Including having them stacked by my bed with the promise that I can read them anytime I want.
I write a column for the local newspaper about books.

I very much enjoyed the party this year. You ladies did a wonderful job!
I'm still exhausted.
