This is our Gingerbread House. I just bought the kit this year. Working doesn't leave me as much time to do things. So rather than just skip the tradition all together, I decided a short cut was in order. I put the house together and the kids decorated it all by themselves! Didn't they do a wonderful job? As they get older they see the importance of symmetry and pattern. They were actually talking about they different patterns they wanted to do as they were decorating it. They cooperated really well together to make sure they agreed on all of the decorations.
