Our Christmas Gift to us
Well, we had this really neat cupboard above our toilet in the bathroom. One evening while I was getting ready for work, I heard a huge crash! It came tumbling down on the toilet and broke a candle, meaning glass all over the floor and it broke the lid to the tank on the toilet. In many, many pieces. After we cleaned up the mess we realized the cupboard was being held up with little more than scotch tape. Ok, it wasn't tape, but it might as well have been. There were 2 little screws in the wall and at the bottom, holding the whole thing up was a tiny nail you would us for hanging a small picture. Ridiculous. Well, with the cupboard down, now we need to paint the bathroom. It is disgusting. So that is something else we need to spend money on. A new tank for the toilet and paint. Merry Christmas, Bates Family!

So rotten! Did you guys put the cupboard up there? If not, why are you paying for it??? Your landlord needs to cover the damages and be thankful one of your children wasn't hurt. If you guys put it up....Merry Christmas! :)

So sorry. I hate crappy Christmas presents--no pun intended. Hope there's a little dinero leftover for some good presents.
