Difficult

I don't know if I will be posting for a while. We are leaving for Utah on Monday. Justin will just stay for the week and come back. But the kids and I are going to stay for a while, probably a couple of months. On Monday Justin's dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He has not gotten a prognosis yet because he has yet to see the encologist, but as you may know, pancreatic cancer is one of the most devastating forms of cancer. So I am going out there with the kids to help them out for a while. He will start chemo-therapy right away so Donna is going to need some assistance. Plus they love the children and asked that they be around. So we are going to pull Caroline and Hilton out of school and enroll Caroline there for the last couple months. We haven't told her this yet. I think she might be upset... but it is only for a couple of months. Justin wishes he could be there too, but that isn't possible. And he is teaching this summer so he can't stay during the summer either. But we are just going to see what happens. Ron was supposed to see the encologist yesterday, but he was in surgery for a lot longer than they anticipated. He is severely jaundiced and needed to get a shunt put in to drain the jaundice. So he can't see the encologist until tomorrow. Meanwhile we just have to wait and hope for the best. But Ron is prepared to fight hard, so we are encouraged! Please keep him and our family in your prayers and thoughts. It is going to be a difficult time for us all.
