BIG, BIG, BIG NEWS!
I told you I was going to announce something big today. So here it is! I went to the doctor today and had my first ultrasound for the new Baby Bates! He or she will be born July 1, 2007. I am 8 weeks along today. It is going to be a very high risk pregnancy with my diabetes, it will be my 3rd c-section, but I am so excited! Justin is still in shock and not a little annoyed, but he is coming around. This was not a planned pregnancy, we thought we were doing a great job at preventing it, and have been for 10 years, but I guess when Heavenly Father has a plan, you just go with the flow. Anyway, I am very excited but still nervous. Any number of things could go wrong, so all of your prayers and thoughts are welcome!

Wow, JL!!! That is so great!!! Heavenly Father will totally bless you because obviously this baby was meant to come to your family!!!! Good luck, we will pray for you too!!!!!!
Congratulations! That's exciting. I'll keep you and the baby in my prayers. It seems like everybody is having babies, both of my sisters, my sister-in-law and you. (:
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Wha-hoo! That is exciting. I thought that might be what your news was when you left that cliff hanger a while ago!! I hope that all goes well for ya both in health (mentally and physically!) Yea Bates family! :)
