Chillin'

So all of the poisons and toxins that I took into my body to rid itself of the nasty germs actually did the trick and I am feeling much better. Thanks to the most delicious homemade chicken noodle soup I have ever tasted, along with homemade rolls, from my dear, dear friend, Erin. She was more worried about me than I was. It was very nice to not have to cook last night and have food delivered right to the house. It seems that Justin is now getting the crud and I am hearing every little bit of his pain. I am staying home today, puttering around the house, with Dora in the background, shopping on the internet... well, mostly just looking... and I am going to read some books today. I will not do anything of real consequence, and tonight I will watch Biggest Loser and V and settle into the bed with a comfy cup of tea. I am wearing sweats and slippers and I am happy to do nothing all day. I will get some laundry done, as that always has to be done. But there will be no cleaning on my agenda. I will chill... nice day of chillin'.

Good for you! Sounds wonderful! Dad is feeling a micro-spot better and I am going to drage him out to vote. We have a decent group of new faces to hopefully clean out some of our local "career politicians" and feel that our vote might make a difference. Then we'll head for home for the evening. Enjoy your reading time. p.s. I am going to try a book recommended to me by one of our attorneys who loves to read. The Puzzle Lady series by Parnell Hall. I've got "A Clue for the Puzzle Lady" I'll let you know how it reads.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. You deserve to have a rest day. Don't worry about the chores, they'll be there tomorrow! In fact, I've noticed they never go away...

Where are pictures of your kids in their costumes?

I'm just SICK about your being sick! I'm so sorry! I'm just so glad you have Erin to take care you! Now. . . the question is. . . how do I get her to bring ME some of the Chicken Soup of the Gods without having to actually be sick?
I'm so glad you're feeling better!!!

I wish I could sit in sweat pants and sip on tea for a day but then again... if I was doing that I'd probably be sick and being sick equals no work and no work equals no pay check. So I guess for now I'll just have deal with not getting to lounge and browse online. When I grow up I'm gonna be like you!
