Cookies. Chocolate chip cookies excite me. The smell. The taste. The texture. I will eat almost any chocolate chip cookie. I really will. Even like the store bought Keebler cookies. They don't have to be fresh baked, although, fresh baked excites me even more. Having diabetes kinda puts a damper on the whole cookie eating thing. My friend, Vicki likes cupcakes. No, she LOVES cupcakes. I think cupcakes are nice. I can take or leave a cupcake. But a cookie... I just can't leave it alone. I can resist sugar cookies. I can resist snickerdoodles, and gingersnaps, and oatmeal lace, and molasses, and even chocolate crinkles... but there is something about a chocolate chip cookie that I just cannot resist. If there is one in my vicinity, I cannot just let it stay there without being eaten. There is something about a chocolate chip cookie. When you take a bite into it, you have the texture of the cookie accompanied by this explosion of chocolate that can only be provided by the chip. That melt in your mouth sensation of the chocolate chip is unparalleled. My mouth smiles when I take a bite of that special combination of eggs and sugar and flour... I love cookies. Any and all cookies. I really will eat any cookie that is put in front of me... but the chocolate chip cookie is what really excites me.

And she did make CC cookies! That was naughty Jen. Well written but naughty...:-) I only ate 4 though and a couple of spoonfuls of the dough. They were Tina's best CC cookies yet. Sorry you we're here to enjoy too.
