Pesky Asthma

i am not going to bother with caps since i have lorelai on my lap. she is complaining and fake crying. i know it is fake because when i imitate her "uh uh" sound, she stops... little turkey! Ok, now she is in the swing. Now that I know the crying was fake and not real distress. It was a busy day. I had to take Hilton to the doctor because of that pesky asthma and he has walking pneumonia. Poor kid. It is obviously not contagious since it was caused by his asthma. But does it slow him down? NO! This kid never stops. I tell you what. He does not sleep well at night. He never has. So the doctor wants to do a sleep study on him to see if he might have sleep apnea. (I don't know if that is how you spell it...) Anyway, he thinks he may be having trouble breathing at night and that is why he wakes up in the middle of the night, everynight. It isn't just because he wants to annoy us and make us get less sleep that we are already getting. Between him and Lorelai, I think I get about 2 hours of quality sleep a night. Anyway, the doctor saw how Hilton bounces off the walls and instead of just wanting to put a bandaid on the problem or dismissing it because he doesn't have time to deal with it, he actually wants to see if he can do something about it! Can you believe it? A doctor who actually spends time with you in the doctor's office? He also PERSONALLY called an allergy specialist to see when he could see Hilton. He wants to get him in for testing and to get his meds changed for his asthma because the one he is on now just isn't doing the trick. He has had 3 episodes with asthma since we have moved here in less than 3 months. That is simply unacceptable. That is 3 episodes, meaning several attacks with each episode. So we might just get this kid fixed! Meanwhile, I am so ready for him to go back to school. We have plans to go to the Waihi''s tonight for chips and salsa and a mean game of trivial pursuit. We throw the kids in their playroom and just have some adult time. It is great! Anyway, We have a busy weekend planned, so I better get going on the cleaning before I run out of day!
