Baby Stats
FYI Lorelai was weighed and measured today. She was 10 lbs 11 oz (double her birth weight) and 21 inches long. She will be 12 weeks old on Thursday! The nurse at WIC said that she is probably going through a growth spurt and that is why she is waking up so much at night. She said this is the typical 3 month old spurt. Last night she woke up 3 times! She is usually only up once. This makes me sad. But she is just hungry. I feed her and she eats like I have never fed her before! So I guess she will get past it. At least, I hope so!

Wow! Double her birth weight! That sounds like a growth spurt to me. :o) Good luck with it. I hope she grows quickly and goes back to sleeping. And, I hope she decides soon that being down and playing is okay. It's a good thing they're so cute and sweet when they're being so tricky, isn't it?
That is terrible to think that a college professor qualifies for welfare, what does that say about how much education is valued??? Pathetic! Of course, at least there is a program out there that can allow you to get the necessary things:) Hang in there!
Wow, she's really sprouting away! Just keep telling yourself, last baby, last baby, last baby and enjoy every waking minute! Mom
I don't envy you those sleepless nights. So good to know she's growing and healthy, though.
